Market Mall’s play play just reopened this week, and honestly not much has changed. I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing.
The Beacon Hill Tommy K Play opened last October (2012). There are a lot of similarities to the South location, with some additional features. If you liked their first location, you’ll like this one too. We met up with a friend of mine who has 4 kids of her own (1 years to 6 years old) as well as her 10 year old niece on a Saturday morning.
Coffee and S’cream is my favorite place to have coffee with a friend while our toddlers and preschoolers play. It’s large enough that even older preschoolers can get some solid exercise and be entertained, but small enough that toddlers can be independent at a pretty young age.

This is a nice play area to take a toddler. It’s almost never very busy and you don’t have to wait or sign up. You can also access the play area before the mall opens.
Address: 1632 – 14 Avenue NW, – (by Sears)
This is a small play area but it still serves its purpose. It gets pretty full when more than 3 families are there, but it’s not unusual to have it all to yourself either.
