We stopped by 4th Spot for an early dinner at 4:30pm on a Sunday. They seem to start getting busier around 5:30pm. If you go earlier you can also hit happy hour (from 2pm-5pm) which has some great specials like $5 6 inch pizzas.
The main floor is bright and cheery with quirky decorations and there is a lounge area up the stairs. There is a cabinet inside the front door just before the seating area with table toys and books for kids.
The kids menu is on an activity page and comes with crayons.
The kids menu looks pretty similar to a lot of other places, but the food that you get is solid. You would probably be happy eating it yourself if they would let you order from the kids menu.
The kids pizzas are Karouzo style pizzas (the 4th Spot uses the recipe from the Karouzo family who used to own a restaurant at this location). It’s a delicious thick crust pizza and actually the same kind of pizza you can get from the happy hour menu.
The mac-n-cheese is obviously not from a box – it is real in house made macaroni and cheese.
My kids all loved the restaurant and their food and asked to go back before we had even left the restaurant.
We also tried some chicken and cauliflower bites from the happy hour menu. The chicken was good, but the breaded cauliflower bites with ‘cheesy pick-up line’ sauce was excellent. I want to eat it again right now.
My husband and I also split a 10 inch thin crust ‘ring of fire’ pizza. Also delicious.
Overall, we really enjoyed 4th Spot. It was a nice restaurant to take the kids to and the food was great.
Your reviews have usually been so helpful but unfortunately it didn’t work out for us today. Following your advice we went to 4th Spot for supper with our family and invited another family to join us only to find out that Sundays kids do not eat free. Apparently it is only a special at Spot On. We were very disappointed but stayed anyways since the kids were hungry.
