Location: Banff – at the intersection of Badger Street and Cougar Street
Directions: Take Banff Ave to Badger Street, turn right onto Cougar Street. The playground is nestled into the back of Banff Rotary Park.
Parking: Free parking in small adjacent lot.
Surrounding Park Area: The playground is located in a small park which consists of a fairly open grassy area with large trees and several picnic tables.
Age Range: 2 – 10
Ground Cover: Pea gravel.
Playground Features: Three slides, a climbing structure with a bridge, zipline, flower-like climbing structures, a bouncer, and two swings (one regular swing and one baby swing).
Shade: Provided by many large trees.
Seating: There is a bench inside the playground and a few picnic tables in the park.
Accessibility: Not accessible.
Overall Assessment: This is a fairly small, somewhat dated playground. It’s not in disrepair, but there’s nothing unique about it. The playground is located on the main drag of Banff, right next to several hotels, so it may be a convenient option if you’re visiting for several days.
