Shade: A large tree on the southern side of the playground provides good shade for parts of the playground.
Features: Large climber with ramp, bridge, catwalks, overhead features, flying foxes and slides; Large Apollo spinner; 3 saucer swings; Artificial rock climber; tire swings.
Surrounding Park Area: Large grassy field area. Right nearby the historic Bowness School.

Seating: several benches
Overall assessment: This playground is large and will appeal to a wide variety of ages. Although it’s starting to show it’s age a little, it has some great features like the saucer swings and Apollo spinner.
