Creekstone Square Playground

Location    map
Address: Creekside – 185 Creekstone Square SW

Parking: free street parking

Nicky’s Review (12 years old): “I liked the zipline and climbing the tall tower.”
Robbie’s Review (9 years old): “I really like it. The zipline was my favourite thing. It’s a really good playground.”

Age Range: 2-12 years
Ground cover: combination pour-in-place recycled tire and playground wood chips

Features: zipline, preschool climber with slide, fish shaped bouncer, rope and rock climber, tall tower climber, one person spinner

Surrounding park area: green space and pathways

Acessibility/Inclusivity: the ground cover is possibly accessible for some people. The wood chips are considered more accessible than other loose materials, however many people may still find it difficult to move around. Also, some of the wood chips spill over on to the accessible pathways making them more challenging as well.

Shade: there are some trees over by the seating area
Seating: benches and picnic tables

Overall Assessment: This is a pretty solid neighborhood playground. It has features that will appeal to a wide variety of ages. My kids particularly loved the zipline and the seating area is nicer than most.
