Gordie’s Review (8 years old): “I think it would be more fun at an older age because the monkey bars were too high”
Nicky’s Review (5 years old): “I liked the fire pole, and the saucer swings and the spinny tree thing [large rope spinner]”
Robbie’s Review (2 years old): Most of the playground was too difficult for him, but he did enjoy the saucer swings, Apollo spinner and getting to the top of the climber using the ramp and steps.
Age Range: 3-12 years
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Shade: Limited. Some young trees nearby
Features: Two large school age climbing sets with lots of slides, climbing and overhead features. Ramp, a few panels. 2 saucer swings, large rope spinner (Apollo).
Surrounding Park Area: School fields
Accessibility: Ramp and steps. Saucer swings and large spinner for kids who can transfer.
Seating: A few benches and a couple picnic tables
Overall assessment: This playground was very busy while we were there (and it seems like it could use some bike racks). The playground is able to accommodate a large number of children without feeling super crowded.
In general I would recommend it for school-age children, but if you have younger children with you there are some things they can access too.
