Address:  Bay 1, 4500 – 5 Street NE (faces Edmonton Trail – accessed from the 32nd Ave Connector)

Robbie’s Review (4.5 years old): “I liked everything!”

Cost: $8.50 walking kids, $5.25 for crawlers
Age Range: under 6
Footwear: Shoes must be taken off at the door.

Safety Features/Concerns: The Tot Spot is on the upper level and has a latched but not locked gate. Children must be signed in at the door.
Play Area Features: There is a bouncy castle on one side, climbers small toys and a large slide on the back wall.

Additional Services: birthday parties, gymnastics classes, summer camps
Food Services: There is an eating area just outside the play area and a small cafe serving all day lunch and snacks.

Overall Assessment: The tot spot is a little different than your typical play place currently in Calgary. It also gets more and less busy as the adjacent gymnastics classes start and end.

Tot Spot - Flip Factory

Just outside the play area is the Flip Cafe which is open to the public.

They have some small kid sized tables as well as seating for parents to watch the gymnastics classes.

The bouncy castle area is a little hard to see from the main area so you will want to stick close to kids who tend to be escape artists.

In the main area there is a large open space with a few toys to play on. On the far side there is an imaginative climber.

Along the wall there is a bumpy slide.

There is tunnel system with a few access points.

Thereare a few different ways to get up to the top of the climber.

And some spots where the kids can peek out the windows.

Have you been to the Tot Spot at the Flip Factory? What did you think?
