Overall assessment: This is one of 4 great playgrounds in Nolan Hill. The castle theme makes an awesome backdrop for imaginative play. You can get up pretty high in the main climber which kids will like but may make some parents with younger kids feel a little nervous.
The coolest part of this playground is a little pneumatic powered ‘elevator’. It doesn’t actually lift you up, but the stand will slide up the pole (sometimes it gets stuck at the bottom and you need to give it a little push).
When you step onto it from the top it will slowly lower you down. My kids thought it was particularly funny for me to get on after them because then it went way faster.
We love that one! As a mom i can hardly wait for the benches and a couple of trees but for now it just forces me to enjoy ‘speeding up the elevator’ for my son!
I think its a great one! Hopefully the city will put the seats up soon and the tress will mature up. Great bonus is my house is super close. After a day at the park enjoy a walk through the open space and pond which is beautiful nature and the houses are huge.
