Gordie’s Review (2 years old): A sandcastle!
Age Range: 2-7.
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Features: Castle themed climber with stairs, double slide, tunnel slide and short tunnel; 2 4-seater bouncers; 4 swings (2 baby). One of the 4 seater bouncers wasn’t working while we were there, but I think it is just buried too deep in the pea gravel. If it was dug out again it would probably be fine.
Surrounding Park Area: there is some grass as well as a basketball hoop
Shade: there is some shade underneath the climber as well as some trees by the benches.
Accessibility: None.
Seating: 2 benches.
Overall assessment: I love a playground with a theme. This playground isn’t huge but the castle theme really elevates it beyond your average playground. The climber in many ways is more of a playhouse than a real climber. This means it may not offer a huge physical challenge but kids will love using their imaginations to play pretend here.
