Airdrie – Nose Creek Park
Parking: There’s free parking in the lot right next to the playground

Gordie’s Review (3 years old): “What was the best part of the park?” “Finding the gophers!”

Age Range: 2-10.
Ground Cover: pour-in-place recycled tire flooring
Features: School-aged climber with two slides, rock wall and ramp, 6 swings(2 baby); preschool playground with slides and dinosaur climber.

Surrounding Park Area: Creek, pond, pathways, covered picnic area, picnic tables, outdoor exercise park, Airdrie Festival of Lights
Accessibility: The ground floor of this playground is completely accessible. There is a ramp with activity panels on the school-aged climber. This park is set back from roads but the playgrounds are near water and next to the parking lot so close supervision is required.

Seating: 2 benches by the preschool playground, 2 picnic tables near the school-aged playground. Additional benches and picnic tables throughout the park.

Overall assessment:We visited this park with my friend and her 4 young kids. The park is beautiful and we all had great morning. There’s lot of space for picnics and the creek and pond give it a little something different from your average park.

The kids had as much fun running around in the grass and finding gophers as they did on the playground itself. There is a good view of the school-aged playground from the outdoor exercise park, which is great if you have kids who require some but not a lot of supervision.
