Gordie’s Review (2 years old): the swings!

Age Range: 5-12.
Ground Cover: pea gravel

Features:  school-aged climber with double slide; 2 seat spinners; 2 swings (1 baby).
Surrounding Park Area: Community centre, baseball diamond, grassy area.

Shade: Not a lot in the play area, but there are some nice trees nearby.
Accessibility: None.
Seating: a couple of benches and a picnic table

Overall assessment: This playground is really built for school-aged kids. Gordie had trouble accessing anything by himself which is pretty unusual these days. It is not a huge playground, but it’s quite recently built and has some neat features like the red climbing wall pictured below that connects the two halves of the structure.
