Community: Bridgeland – 9a St and 4th avenue NE
Parking: free 2 hour street parking

Gordie’s Review (2 years old): Like the stepping stones!

Age Range: The sign states 5-12, but there is lots that would appeal to younger kids as well.
Ground Cover: pea gravel in the main area, recycled tire shreds under the spider web

Features: large climber with slides, stepping stones, bridges, drum panel and imaginative play panels; large spider web climber, two-seater motor cycle bouncer; four-seater bouncer; flying fox; swings (2 baby); dinosaur climber.
Surrounding Park Area: This playground is located in a small park space that is now dominated by the playground itself.

Shade: Lots of mature shade trees as well as some shade provided by the equipment itself.
Seating: 3 picnic tables and 4 benches
Accessibility: There is no pathway to the play area, but it is not far from the sidewalk. There is no access inside the play area.

Overall assessment: This is a really great playground hidden inside an unassuming park in Bridgeland – unless you were driving right past it you’d never suspect it was there. Gordie had a great time.

His favorite things were running over all the bridges (and back again and again) and the challenge of going across the stepping stones. We easily spent over an hour and a half at this park and Gordie still wasn’t ready to leave.
