The Canadian Wilds and the Penguin Plunge at the Calgary Zoo

The Calgary Zoo was extensively damaged in this year’s flood. The Island area (which contains the playgrounds, and many of the animal exhibits) remains closed. The re-building is expected to take years to complete. The Northern areas of the Zoo have reopened and there is still a lot to see at the zoo. The Penguin Plunge, Prehistoric Park and Canadian Wilds are all open and definitely worth a visit.
