Gordie’s Review (3 years old) – “what was the best part?” “the slides!”

Age Range:5-12
Ground Cover: Pour in place recycled tire flooring

Features: school-aged climber with slides, cat walk, bridge, flying fox, there are also a couple spinners to the south of this play space
Surrounding Park Area: Large park with athletic fields with another great community playground across the park.

Shade: a little inside the play space from the equipment itself.
Seating:a couple of benches,
Accessibility: accessible flooring through the majority of the play area, there are steps up to the main climber for anyone unsteady on their feet.

Overall Assessment: Although this playground is primarily geared towards older kids, younger kids will appreciate the accessible flooring, bridges and slides. There are some large sandstone rocks nearby which can extend the play time too.

We didn’t stay at this playground too long, between the lack of shade and the mosquitos that day, it wasn’t a great place for baby Nicole, but Gordie had a great time on the slides and bridges.
