Park Area: Fairly small park area connected to a long green space primarily consisting of a bike path

Nicky’s Review (11 years old): “It was very good but also confusing. I liked all the parkour I could do.”
Robbie’s Review (8 years old): “not good. I couldn’t do anything. I was too short.”

Age Range: intended for ages 12+
Ground cover: wood chips

Features: logs, walls and bars intended for parkour

Accessibility/Inclusiveness: None

Shade: There are some trees nearby
Seating: a few benches

Overall assessment: This playground is really different from most Calgary playgrounds. It is intended for an older age group and is geared towards parkour.

Parkour involves moving around different obstacles through things like jumping and climbing and can also feature some really cool tricks.

I checked the park out with my 8, 11 and 14 year old. My two older kids enjoyed the park but my 8 year old hated it and couldn’t wait to leave. Some younger kids may really enjoy the park if this kind of thing is up their alley, however.
