North Access – Shaganappi Trail and 16th Avenue.
Parking: There are two parking lots one at the south end and one at the north end of the park. As the park is narrow both provide great access to any part of the park. See the map above for the parking lot locations.
Washroom: There are seasonal washrooms in the park.

Age Range: 2-12 years
Ground cover: Pour-in-place recycled tire and infinity turf (artificial grass)
Features: Western themed playground. Swings 2 tandem swings (one accessible) , ramps, braille signage, accessible rocking wagon, musical instruments. 4 person bouncer with back support. Roller slide.

Surrounding park area:
Summer Features: pathways, picnic areas, covered picnic areas, river access, firepits and BBQ stands, gazebos, to the North and East of the park there are off leash areas.
Winter Features: Cross country skiing and tobogganing.
Accessibility: Accessible flooring throughout the play area. Accessible tandem swing. 4 person bouncer has back support. Roller slide. wagon themed rocker. Accessible tandem swing.
Shade: Large mature trees near the play area and a fair bit of shade from the playground itself

Overall assessment: This playground is located towards the south entrance parking lot. It is a lovely shaded playground with great features for kids of all ages and abilities.
