Gordie’s Review (7 years old): What was your favorite thing? “the orange thing. ” [the standing bouncer]
Nicky’s Review (4 years old): “the thing that you jump off” [the flying fox]
Robbie’s Review (18 months old): He like climbing the steps to the top of the climber but that was a bit too high for my comfort.
Surrounding Park Area: next to a school and large fields
Age Range: 3-12 years.
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Playground Features: climber with double slide and steps, balance beam, two person standing teeter-totter, flying fox, saucer swing, 2 swings (1 baby)
Shade: good shade from large trees.
Seating: a few benches and a picnic table
Accessibility: None. The saucer swing could be used by kids who are able to transfer.
Overall assessment: This playground is designed for kids 5+ and there isn’t a lot for toddlers except for the swings. My bigger kids enjoyed the playground though and particularly enjoyed the two person standing teeter-totter.
Even though this playground isn’t huge there are quite a number of things for kids who like spinning and swinging.
