In a typical year many family enjoy the indoor Halloween fun hosted by Calgary’s malls. Like last year, events are few and far between and very different than past years.
Some malls may have nothing official planned but individual retailers may choose to hand out candy. This may be hit or miss and as always, while supplies last.

1. New Horizon Mall
Free Halloween Fun
Date: Sunday Oct 27th, 2024
Time: 1-3pm
Activities: Halloween Mickey & Minnie will be on our main stage for FREE PICTURES along with FREE GLITTER TATTOOS!

2. Deerfoot City
Pumpkin Decorating
Dates: Weekends starting Oct 20th 2024
Location: in the Community Space on the corner between Old Navy and La Vie En Rose
Activities: Pick up a mini pumpkin to decorate
Cost: Free
Ghouls’ Day Out
Date: Saturday Oct 19, 2pm
Location: in the Community Space on the corner between Old Navy and La Vie En Rose
Activities: paint a taper candle using a wax-on-was method. Recommended for 12+
Cost: Free. Walk-ins welcome but you can save your spot here.
Costume Photos
Date: Saturday, October 26, 1pm – 4pm
Location: Community Space
Activity: Halloween photos with a professional photographer. By donation to the Calgary Food Bank or Project Warmth.
Trick Or Treating
Date: Thursday, October 31, 3-6pm
Location: Community Space & Select retailers.

Time: 3-5pm while supplies last at participating stores

Activities: Trick-or-Treating inside the mall at participating stores
Pumpkin Smash Bash!
Date: November 4, 2024, 4-7pm
Cost: cash donation of $5 per pumpkin to the Calgary Food Bank. Cash only
Activities: drop your pumpkin from the second level balcony all the way down to the lower level target. Enter to win a $100 gift card to the mall or Calgary Hitmen tickets.
7. North Hill Centre
A Tolkien Halloween
Date: October 31, 2024
Time: 4-5pm
Location: Throughout the mall at participating stores.
Cost: Free
Activities: Trick or Treating. Special prizes if you dress up in a Lord of the Rings Costume
