In a typical year many family enjoy the indoor Halloween fun hosted by Calgary’s malls. This year, events are few and far between and very different than past years.
Do not expect to be able to trick or treat in the malls this year. That doesn’t mean that nothing fun has been planned though, see below for what Calgary’s malls have to offer this year for Halloween.

1. Marlborough Mall

Activities: Take a picture of your costume and tag @marlboroughmall for a chance to win a MBM Gift Card. Open to all ages.
2. Westbrook Mall – Halloween Party

3. New Horizon Mall
Haunted Dollhouse Scavenger Hunt

Time: Mall hours
Activities: Hunt for haunted dollhouses throughout the mall. When you have found them all enter to win a halloween gift basket.
Haunted Calgary – The Devil’s Drive-in Experiene

Activities: 3 Different drive-in experiences

4. Deerfoot City
Halloween Ghost Hunt
Dates: October 17-31 – 2020
Time: Guest services hours
Location: outside Deerfoot City/Guest Services
Activities: find Boo’s six outdoor locations, discover the answers our clue questions and submit your findings for a chance to win a $250 gift card to Winners.
Cost: Free
Halloween Photo Contest
Dates: October 13-31 – 2020
Location: Halloween mural on the boulevard
(between H&M and Just Your Style)
Activities: Capture a photo at Deerfoot City’s Halloween mural to enter their halloween photo contest. See their website for details.
Cost: Free
Cabela’s at Deerfoot City
Cabela’s is not hosting any Halloween events this year.
5. Sunridge – Drive thru Halloween
Date: October 31, 2020
Time: 1-5pm
Location: Sunrdige Parking Lot
Cost: Free
Activities: Get your ghosts and goblins dressed up early in the afternoon and drive through our spooktacular Halloween alley with fun, dressed up characters and a few scares and surprises along the way. And of course, your little goblins get a little treat – all while maintaining safe distances. Masks and gloves and tongs will be used to hand out candy.
6. North Hill Centre – Halloween PPE/Candy Give away
Date: October 12-16, 2020
Activities: 100 Halloween PPE/Candy giveaway packages. This offer is now closed.
7. Southcentre
Halloween at Southcentre
Instead of it’s regular halloween activities, Southcentre has created online activities and a Halloween activity book you can download.
Photo contest
Getting dressed up or baking a spooky treat? Tag them in your photos on Instagram and Facebook for a chance to win a $150 Southcentre Gift Card!
8. Chinook Centre.
No Halloween events listed this year.
9. CrossIron Mills
CrossIron Mills does not have Halloween events listed – you can usually find a lot of halloween fun at Bass Pro, but they have no halloween events listed this year.
10. Northland Mall
Northland has also canceled it’s Halloween activities this year, but they do have an online Haunted house and coloring book.
11. Market Mall
Market Mall with also not be hosting any Halloween activities this year.
