Gordie’s Review (6 years old) What was the best part? “The big spinner”
Nicky’s Review (3 years old) “The big slide!”
Age Range: 2 years-12 years
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Shade: Very little
Features: Large play structure with ramp, slides, bridges and overhead features, large rope spinner, 3 saucer swings, two bowl spinners, teeter-totter.
Surrounding Park Area: School fields that open up onto a large grassy park. On the other side of the park is Maria Goretti School Playground.
Accessibility: There is a ramp but you have to go through pea gravel on asphalt to get to it.
Seating: A couple of picnic tables and a few benches
Overall assessment: This school playground has a lot to offer with tons of climbing equipment as well as opportunities for swinging and spinning.
Although generally aimed at older kids, younger kids will enjoy the ramps, bridges and saucer swings. The best thing about this playground is that it is only a short walk across the field from another great school playground at Maria Goretti School.
