2019 – now has a new updated playground with rubberized surface

Location: Prestwick – 15113 Prestwick Blvd SE    http://mtcouncil.com/common

The spray park is run by the McKenzie Towne Residents Association in conjunction with the City of Calgary and is open for public use.

Parking: There is free street parking along the park.
Surrounding Park Area: Basketball courts, seasonal washroom and a playground

Features: Fountain and multiple spray park features including musical features. One feature “Bubble Trouble” needs parts before it can open (hopefully later this month)

Formally known as McKenzie Towne Commons, this new community run spray park is now finally open this year after upgrades. It is a community spray park but it is open to the public.

    • It was closed for decontamination this weekend. They said it could take several days and was due to people bringing dogs into the no dog area around the spray park.

    • There were some repairs that had to be done before it opened for the season. They had been hoping to have it ready for July 1st.
