Ground cover: pea gravel  

Features: older playground with ramp, slides and overhead features. large climbing boulders. Newer playground with slides and overhead features. Tall globe spinner. Pathway with natural large rocks and log features. Lots of swings.    

Surrounding park area: School fields
Accessibility: Accessible pathway that leads to the ramp allowing access to a small part of the playground. There is likely to be pea gravel on the pathways.

Shade: Large shady trees 
Seating: quite a few benches around the playground

Overall assessment: 

This playground is a great example of what a school playground can be. The equipment is nice with tons of overhead features that kids love. But what really elevates the playground is the setting. The trees, pathways and rocks and logs makes this not just a fun place to play, but a really nice place to be.
