Rosscarrock Community Centre Playground

This community playground in Rosscarrock, is large with lots of fun climbing equipment.

Nicky’s Review (9 years old): “I liked how on the rock they had different sculptures and I liked the forest theme”
Robbie’s Review (6 years old): “I liked the slide”

Age Range: 2-12 years
Ground cover: pea gravel

Features: tall school-aged climber with overhead features, slides, steps and attached rope and log course. Preschool climber with steps and slides.

Surrounding park area: Large grassy area, 2 ball diamonds, outdoor rink, community centre,
Accessibility: There are steps up to the main climbers but you have to cross pea gravel to get to it.

Shade: large mature trees by the play area
Seating: a few benches and picnic tables

Overall Assessment

This playground is more impressive in person than it is in these photographs. The main climber is taller and large than it appears. It is located in a lovely park space with mature trees, making it a lovely place for a picnic as well.
