Gordie’s Review (2 years old): The ladder climber
Age Range: 2-10.
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Features: School-aged climber with slide, twisty slide, bridge and climbing wall; 4 swings (2 baby); tall twisty hole climbers; web climber; toddler climber with slides and bendy bridge.
Surrounding Park Area: soccer field, baseball field, bike path
Shade: not too much inside the play area. There are large some trees in the surrounding park area but not by the benches.
Accessibility: None.
Seating: 2 benches, 1 picnic table. There are a few more benches and picnic tables in the park as well.
Overall assessment: This recently built playground has a number of unique features to make it more than your average playground. Gordie loved challenging himself by climbing up the ladder bridge to the school-aged climber. This would definitely be worth a short trip for a change of pace.
