Robbie’s Review (7 years old): “It was good. I liked the roller slide and all the spinners.”
Age Range: 2-12 years
Ground cover: pour-in-place recycled tire flooring
Features: climber with 6 level ramp system, sway fun (seemed to be stuck), roller slide, twisty slide, steps; central web/rope climber; 2 bowl spinners; ground level merry-go-round spinner; 2 swings (one accessible).
Surrounding park area: Large school fields with pathway (does not connect to the school).
Accessibility: There is accessible flooring throughout the play area. The ramp system is 6 levels high and allows access to most of the large climber and has activity panels and room to turn around.
There is an accessible swing and accessible ground level merry-go-round. There is also roller slide as well as a sway fun feature but it seemed to be fixed in place during our visit.
Shade: limited but there is some shade from the playground and some covered seating.
Seating: there are a few benches and covered picnic tables.
Overall assessment:
This playground is located nearby a middle school and is geared towards kids in this age range but will still appeal to younger kids with the ramps and merry-go-round.
The ramp system at this playground is one of the biggest that we’ve seen with 6 levels. The ground level merry-go-round and the central web climber are both usual features that kids will love.
If you are looking for a new playground for older kids or are in the area, you should definitely check this one out.
