Gordie’s Review (15 months old) – Great rocks and steps!

Age Range: All ages. Crawlers and early walkers will have difficulty on the pea gravel.
Ground Cover: Pea Gravel

Features: Preschool climber with one slide; Large school-age climber; 2 baby swings; 2 swing style teether totters; bouncer; half dome climber. Surrounding Park Area: Flat grassy area, mature trees a small number of picnic tables.

Shade: Fantastic. At mid day most of the park was in the shade as well as a bench and some grass outside the play area.
Seating: 2 benches
Accessibility: none.

Overall Assessment: This is a much nicer playground than I had expected. I had seen it from Centre Street many times, but because everything is painted blue, it is difficult to see how nice it really is.

It is not a new playground but it is generally in good shape. My son was well entertained by the preschool play structure and was able to be very independent. It also has a marble panel that is (sort of) like a pin ball machine that is quite fun.

The school aged play structure is big with a lot of variety of climbing equipment. The teeter totters looked like fun and I really enjoyed the bouncer.  The park is nice and quiet with mature trees offering great shade. It would be a nice place to host a picnic.
