Supervision: None.
Age Range: 3-12. Adults are welcome as well (at least in theory).
Footwear: socks. But you can wear shoes while you watch if you don’t go into the play space.
Safety Features/Concerns: If they play area is busy you may not be able to find seating inside the play area
Play Area Features: Climbing tubes, tube slides, lookout points, steps, panels (may differ by location).
Overall Assessment: The McDonald’s play place in Huntington Hills was recently renovated (2020). Previously it was quite a large climber with a fairly large seating area.
Now the climber is much smaller. The new climber will be way less interesting for bigger kids but may be nicer for smaller kids who could sometimes get stuck up at the top of the old climber.
The seating area has also changed, there is now only a small seating area inside the play area.
Wow, I just found your blog and spent an hour going through it! Tons of indoor play areas we didn’t know about – thanks – great service!!!!!!
There’s also a playplace at Westhills in Signal Hill!
Do you have any updates on play places that are still around? Many that are listed have been removed. Thanks.
