Gordie’s Review (3 years old) – “what was the best part?” “the slide!”

DSC_0840_thumb2

Age Range:2-8
Ground Cover: pea gravel

Features: 2 baby swings, jeep climber, dinosaur climber, teeter-totter, digger, 2 climbers, tall slide, bowl spinner. There are also a number of non-permanent pieces of plastic little tykes equipment.

Surrounding Park Area: The playground is completely fenced with latchable gates. The playground is well used by the daycare that runs out of the Alexandra Centre (a building that stores community services and programs). There is a small grassy area to the west of the playground.

Seating: 2 picnic tables
Accessibility: None.

Overall Assessment: Although it is often mistaken for a private playground, this playground is actually part of a small city of Calgary park. The playground area has lots of shade and equipment generally gear towards young kids. This would be a great place to go if you had a toddler or preschooler and a baby.
