Okotoks has some pretty great playgrounds for kids. Here are the ones we’ve found so far. Do you know of another playground we should add to this list?
1. Bill Robertson Park Inclusive Playground
1400 N Railway St, Okotoks, AB
This inclusive playground is fully fenced and has a covered picnic area right next to it.
2. Cimaron Park Playground
Cimaron Drive and Cimaron Estates Road, Okotoks, AB
Best suited for younger kids, this playground is located in a lovely little park, this playground features accessible flooring, ground level features and a couple of swings.
3. Mountview Drive Playground
Mountview Drive & Mountview Gate
This playground features some eye catching tree shades and equipment great for kids who like to climb.
4. Darcy Natural Playground
Darcy Blvd and Sandstone Dr, Okotoks, AB
Darcy Natural playground has a combination of inviting natural log features as well as slides and climbing components.
5. Birch Gin Playgrounds
Birch Gin and D’Arcy Blvd – located to the North East of D’Arcy Lake.
This small playground has some nice natural playground features and walking trails.
Birch Gin – North West corner for D’Arcy Lake
This playground is designed as a ninja/fitness course and is aimed at older kids or adults. There is also a more typically fitness area a short walk around the lake.
6. Sheep River Park Playground
Woodhaven Dr – Okotoks, AB
This playground is located along the Sheep River Pathway near the Sheep River. There are lots of options for climbing and spinning and it is a great place to have a picnic.
