Ground cover: pour-in-place recycled tire in the main play area. There is pea gravel in the natural area
Features: Preschool climber with steps and slide. School-aged climber with oveahead features, slides and steps. Natural area with hills, rocks and logs. Seat spinner.
Surrounding park area: fairly small park space with lots of new trees, bushes and plants.
Accessibility: main play area has accessible flooring throughout and steps up to the climber.
Shade: minimal due to young trees
Seating: a few benches and picnic tables
Overall Assessment
This is a lovely, bright, community park located in the new community of Livingstone. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit.
The flooring at the playground is bright and cheerful and includes a number of monkey bar style features. There are not a lot of options for kids who love to bounce, swing or spin though.
The natural area with pour-in-place rubber hills, rocks and logs take the playground up a notch from your average playground.
