Overall Assessment

This new playground has something for everyone. The setting is lovely with lots of green space. The trees are still young but since the playground is set into the hill the park still feels really lovely.

On one side there is an area with preschool climbers, ground level activities and musical features.

The middle area has a climbing web built into the hill and a hill slide that is pretty zippy.

There aren’t any actual monkey bars at this playground, however, my kids found it entertaining to use the support bars between the two blue spinners as quasi-monkey bars.

The rock climbing features at this playground are great with three large boulders and a rock climbing wall – something you will find in few of Calgary’s parks.

This playground will be able to entertain kids of a wide variety of ages and is a great new addition to the community.
