Gordie’s Review (3 years old): “What was the best part of the park?” “climbing in the web!”
Age Range: 3-12.

Ground Cover: pea gravel
Shade: There is some shade in and around the play area.

Features: School-aged climber with wobbly bridge, twisty slide, and flying fox; big spinner, giant spider web climber, rock wall climber, 2 standing rockers.
Surrounding Park Area: Two schools (review of Simons Valley Playground), community centre, outdoor rink, soccer and baseball fields, tennis

Accessibility: None.
Seating: None.

Overall assessment: Gordie had a good time at this playground and really liked being able to climb around laterally. The only way we got him to leave was to tell him we’d go play at the other really good playground in the same park.

It was challenging for him and there isn’t a ton to offer for really little kids. Older kids on the other hand will find a lot of good opportunities for real physical play and be able to challenge themselves more than at most playgrounds.
