Note: This is a school playground and you may be asked to leave during school hours.
Community: Mount Pleasant – 24 Ave and 4th St NW
Parking: Free street parking
Nicky’s Review (3 years old): I liked the tree.
Gordie’s Review (6 years old): I liked the slides. And playing with my friend.
Age Range: 5 years-12 years
Ground Cover: pea gravel
Shade: There is a tree beside the playground that provides a small amount of shade.
Features: school-aged climber with slides and a ramp, ring spinner, rope bridge, standing spinner, musical panels, overhead features
Surrounding Park Area: school fields.
Accessibility: there is a ramp but you have to go through pea gravel to get to it.
Seating: a couple of benches and picnic tables
Overall assessment: Aside from the ramp area this school playground will be too challenging for most preschoolers to really enjoy themselves but older kids will enjoy the challenge. The playground is a little harder to get to than it seems with no close entrance.
