Seton Playground – Elsa’s Tower

This eye catching inclusive playground in Seton is a great community space for people of all ages.

Gordie’s Review (12 years old): “Really good playground. Had stuff for older kids but optimized for younger kids.”
Nicky’s Review (9 years old): “I like how they made the big tower with two slides in it instead of just one. And how the exercise bars have two different heights.”
Robbie’s Review (6 years old): “I liked the tube slide.”

Age Range: 2-12 years – The tall tower is designed for older kids and is not well suited for toddlers.
Ground cover: pour-in-place recycled tire flooring

Features: Large tower climber with tube slides and double slide. Saucer swing. Toddler climber. 4 person bouncer. Roller slide. Seat spinners. 4 swings (2 baby, 1 accessible).

Surrounding park area: Grassy areas and pathways. Large shaded seating area.

Accessibility: This playground has accessible flooring throughout the play area. There is an accessible swing. The 4 person bouncer and the seated spinners have back supports. It also features a saucer swing and roller slide. Inside the tower structure there is a easier spiral walkway you can use to get up.

Shade: There are young trees near the playground. There is a large shaded seating area.
Seating: Shaded picnic tables, benches, adirondack chairs.

Overall Assessment

This new playground has quickly become a local favourite and its easy to see why. If you don’t like busy playgrounds, you may want to try to visit this one at an off peak time. The playground has a lot to offer from inclusive features like the accessible flooring to the covered picnic area as well as some super fun equipment like the tall tower and roller slide.
