Features: large interconnected climbing structure with ramp, bridge slides and a twisty slide, 6 swings
Surrounding Park Area: next to Stanley Jones school, it is part of a large park area that includes Renfrew Preschool Playground as well as baseball and soccer fields.
Shade: There is a little shade on one side of the playground
Seating: 3 picnic tables and a couple of benches
Accessibility: There is a small ramp on part of the climber. The levels all around the climber are wide which can be helpful to kids with lower motor skills.

Overall Assessment: The colors of this playground make it pretty unassuming from a distance (you can see it across the park from Renfrew Preschool Playground) so I had no idea how great it was until we were there.
One of the things I really liked about this playground is how a little bit of attention was paid to making the setting of the playground nice as well as the playground. There are picnic tables and trees, and rather than placing the playground right up against the school, it’s set back a bit and more a part of the park.
The equipment is laid out well so that kids can play a great came of ‘keep off the ground’ while navigating themselves around and there is a lot of variation in equipment to test their skills. Gordie loved trying to figure out which pieces of equipment he could master.
