Washroom: There are public bathrooms inside Vivo but it does involve a bit of a walk.

Accessibility: This playground has been designed with inclusivity in mind. The whole play area has accessible flooring. There is a 3 level ramp system and steps enabling inclusive access to the main climber which has a sway fun and roller slide. The ramp has activities at the different levels and room to turn around.
The playground has some ground level features including an accessible merry-go-round, and an accessible swing. The saucer swing can also be used by laying down or together with another person. The playground is completely fenced with only a couple exit points.
The one drawback, however, is that the best parking is a 5 minute walk to the playground.

Shade: There is some shade from the playground itself but in general the playground is pretty exposed. There is also a covered picnic area next to the playground.
Seating: A few benches and several picnic tables under a shelter.

Overall assessment: This playground is a great new addition to the area. Kids of all ages will enjoy this playground but it may skew a big younger than some of the new inclusive playgrounds the city has built.

The merry-go-round spinner is a sure hit for kids of all ages and the covered picnic area makes it a great spot for a picnic lunch.
The parking access is not currently amazing but there is good pathway access makes it a great bike ride destination.

There is a lot of green space around the playground for kids to kick a ball around which can also increase the time you can spend at the playground if you have kids with various interests and attention spans.
