Ground cover: Pea gravel
Features: zipline, preschool climber with double slide, steps and steering wheel, school-age climber with slides, rope bridges.
Surrounding park area: Next to a grove of trees and a bike path Accessibility: A paved pathway leads to the playground. The playground itself is not accessible due to the pea gravel.
Shade: Great shade from large trees.
Seating: 4 benches, 2 picnic tables
Overall assessment: This playground is located in an area that is still being developed. Unlike playgrounds in many new areas, this grove of trees was pre-existing and preserved so the trees are large and provide great shade.
The setting is really lovely and the equipment is also excellent. The highlight is definitely the zipline which school-aged kids will adore. These are fairly rare to find it Calgary but are always a big hit.
