Gordie’s Review (3 years old) – “what was the best part?” “the little hills”

DSC_0261

Age Range:2-8
Ground Cover: Pea gravel

Features: slide; 4 swings (1 baby), web climber,  2 dinosaur climbers, dinosaur bouncer, 2 seater bouncer, teeter-totter.
Surrounding Park Area: some flat grassy area surrounds the playground which is set within Big Marlborough Park.

Shade: There are large mature trees near the playground.
Seating: a couple picnic tables by the playground, more in the surrounding park area.
Accessibility: None.

Overall Assessment: Marlborough park is one of the biggest parks in the North East. It is primarily an athletic park with numerous types of sports fields as well as a couple schools on the South side. As far as I can tell this is the only public playground.

The playground is nothing special, but the park setting around it is quite nice, with some small hills, big trees and lots of grass. If you are in the area but looking for a more exciting playground try the Cappy Smart School Playground across the street.
